My grandmother was a painter, and she gave me my first box of oil paints when I was 7, or maybe 8, I can't remember. I do remember making a helluva mess, though. I think I copied this image from a cigarette ad in a magazine, I don't remember that for sure either, but I do remember this as my first painting sometime around that age.
